On Thursday, September 12, at approximately 5:30 a.m., the Jackson Police Department began investigating a homicide in the 200 block of W. McDowell Road.
Detectives discovered that the victim, Deandre McDonald, had been fatally stabbed at the scene.
McDonald was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have arrested 24-year-old Anthony Hawkins, who has been charged with murder in connection with the case.
