Jackson police arrested a man named Montravious Baker and charged him with two murders, six armed robberies, and two carjackings.
Baker was arrested January 21, at 3630 Rainey Road and was transported to police. He was with a man named Tyrese Hodges who was also arrested.
Hodges confessed to his involvement in the armed robberies and carjackings.
Both men are being charged with six armed robberies of businesses and two carjackings.
Montravious Baker is being charged with the two murders of 15-year-old Shaway Anderson and 39-year-old William Woods.
Both victims were found shot to death in the street in Jackson.
According to police, the investigation is ongoing with more charges expected to follow.
