There was an increased officer presence at OCH Regional Medical Center Wednesday evening after a felony arrestee attempted to escape through a bathroom vent.
24-year-old arrestee, Devontay Jones of Starkville, had been charged with aggravated assault.
The charges stem from a December 3rd incident at Forest Creek Apartments, 1301 Louisville Street.
He was also served nine misdemeanor warrants from unrelated incidents.
Jones received an additional felony charge of escape of a prisoner.
