You definitely don’t hear about rescues like this every day. A Harrison County Marine Patrol was working when he noticed a pelican who seemed to be injured or in distress.
The Marine Patrol officer jumped into action to help the poor bird.
They reached out to Wild at Heart Rescue, who helped get the injured pelican medical care at a vet.
