A woman was shot after she confronted teenagers allegedly trying to seal her vehicle.
According to police, around 4:00 a.m. several unidentified juveniles attempted to steal a vehicle parked outside of a home on Bonita Drive.
When the homeowner confronted the suspect, one of them discharged a firearm, striking her in the stomach once.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
This is an ongoing investigation and Jackson police officers are working to identify and find the suspects.
