Home In Greenville Destroyed After It Catches Fire A Second Time This Week

At 3:54 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Greenville Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire at 1023 South Dellesseps St.

Engine 1, Engine 4, Rescue 2, and Command 1 were all dispatched to the scene.

When Engine 1 arrived, they reported that the entire single-story wood frame structure was totally engulfed in flames.

Engine 4 secured the water supply, and Rescue 2 came in for manpower.

They began extinguishment, calling this a defensive fire attack.

The Fire Department said that this is the second time this week this home has gone up in flames and they believe it is arson.

Greenville Fire Marshal, Assistant Fire Marshal and Fire Investigator was dispatched to the scene for further investigation.
