The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit, MS Bureau of Narcotics, and Homeland Security conducted an investigation in south Jackson that located 5 pounds of prescription pills.
During the investigation, a K9 officer sniffed out a container. A search warrant was obtained for the container, leading to the discovery of 22 bags containing blue pills.
Authorities say the bags contained 22,000 oxycodone M/30 pills, street valued at $600k. No suspects were on the scene.
