On January 17, Heidelberg Volunteer Fire Department responded to the Valero Gas Station for a structure fire.
When units arrived, they found the building was engulfed in flames.
Heidelberg along with other departments extinguished the blaze.
Units that responded to the fire included Heidelberg Tanker #1, Heidelberg Engine #3, Vossburg Engine #4, Jasper County EMA, Heidelberg PD, and Jasper S.O.
Mutual Aid was received from Lake Eddins VFD, Oak Bowery VFD, Beaver Meadow VFD, and Sandersville Fire And Rescue.
