According to Mississippi Highway Patrol, a Hazlehurst man was killed in a Monday wreck.

Authorities say around 5 p.m. Sergio Sandoval, 34, was driving a 2003 Toyota Tacoma southbound on I-55 near the 63 mile marker in Copiah County.

Sandoval’s pickup truck then collided with 2022 Peterbilt driven by Bradly Whitwell, 49, of Gates, Tennessee. The vehicle continued south and then authorities say hit a 2019 Ford Cattle Trailer driven by Koby Radly, 25, of Holden, Louisiana.

Sandoval was thrown from the truck and died on the scene, police said.
