Hattiesburg Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a runaway teen.

17-year-old Jokia Brown, of Hattiesburg, was last seen on March 21, around 6 p.m. after her mother took her cell phone.

She was last seen wearing khaki pants, a sweatshirt with “SR. 2023” printed on it, black shoes, and a black hooded jacket. She is 5’5 and roughly 120 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair, usually in a ponytail.

According to family members, Brown suffers from a mental disability.
