A Hub City man is in custody after police allegedly caught him in a burglary early on Tuesday.
According to Hattiesburg Police Department, around 7:45 a.m., officers responded to a burglary in progress in the 4100 block of Lincoln Road at Venture Church.
When officers arrived, they found a man inside the building who they believed had broken into the building through a doorway.
He was taken into custody, and later identified as Chad Slade.
Slade, 45, has been charged with one count of commercial burglary, and booked into the Forrest County Jail.
