On Friday, February 9, at approximately 2:15 p.m., the Hattiesburg Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 200 block of West 7th Street.

Engine 4 was the first to arrive on scene followed by Engines 1, 2, 5, 6, and Ladder 1 and two BCs who also responded.
When Engine 4 arrived on the scene, the structure was heavily involved in fire. Thankfully, the structure was uninhabited and there were no injuries.
The Hattiesburg Fire Department said,
“Helmets off to our crew for doing a great job suppressing the fire and saving the surrounding structures from any damage.”
