Greenville Police Dept. Arrests One For Robbery

On July 5th, the Greenville Police Department received a call of a robbery in the 1600 block of Highway 1 South around 1:30 pm.
When officers arrived, they made contact with the store clerk who advised a black male entered the store to make a purchase, and forcibly took cash from the register.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store on foot. After reviewing the video footage at the store, investigators were able to identify the suspect as 38-year-old old Terrence Collins of Greenville.
Detectives made contact with Collins at his home a short time after and placed him into police custody on an unrelated warrant.
Collins was then arrested and charged with Robbery. He is currently being held in the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility awaiting his initial appearance.
