The 41st annual Pepsi Pops was held on Friday at the Old Trace Park in Ridgeland.

The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra performed tunes from “Saving Private Ryan”, “Chicago”, Elvis, and more with a fireworks finale. The concert was hosted by Mississippi Today Editor At-Large Marshall Ramsey and WLBT’s “Mississippi Weekend” host, Anisa Sakile.

Local Pepsi distributor Brown Bottling Group acted as the main sponsor of the event.

“It’s an evening of family fun where you can have a picnic. You can have a blanket,” BBG Executive Vice President Shelley Brown Floyd said. “You can bring your food out here and enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra underneath the wonderful sky.”

Pepsi Pops was originally scheduled for May 13 before being delayed two weeks due to weather.
