Friday Weather: partly sunny and HOT

Dangerous heat is expected this weekend into next week as high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s. Heat indices are expected to range between 105-110 degrees across the region. Make sure you stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if you plan on working outdoors. Heat related illnesses are likely with prolonged exposure to the dangerous heat.

Today will be partly sunny with a slight chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon south of I-20. Hot conditions will continue with highs in the upper 90s.

Tonight will be mostly clear with a slight chance of a thunderstorm across the south. Low temperatures will drop to the mid 70s.
