Four Suspects in Custody after Friday Shooting in Vicksburg

Two suspects were held over the weekend for the shooting of a twenty-one-year-old Friday around 6 p.m. on Leticia Street in Vicksburg.

Twenty-four year old, Chadderick Ross and twenty-two year old, Makayla Harris were taken into custody on Friday and held without bond. They appeared in the Vicksburg Municipal Court on Monday.

After the incident, the victim, Nicholas Murray, was airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center with gunshots to his left arm and torso. There is no updated information regarding his condition.

Ross has been charged with one count of aggravated assault and received a $250,000 bond. Harris was charged with a $150,000 bond for one count of accessory after the fact.

Two women were arrested and charged because of their association with helping the alleged shooter, Chadderick Ross.

Forty-three year old, Melissa Amos and thirty-eight year old, Dillette Howard, were both charged with one count of accessory after the fact as well as a $150,000 bond.
