Entergy surprised the Jackson Fire Department with a generous donation.
They donated $12,000 of new rope rescue equipment that firefighters can use when responding to fires.
Fire Chief Willie Owens posted on Facebook and said,
“On behalf of Fire Chief Willie Owens and the entire Jackson Fire Department family, we appreciate and value our partnership with Entergy. Entergy donated 12 thousand dollars of new rope rescue equipment to your Jackson Fire Department. Thank you, Entergy for your amazing act of kindness.“
