The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office announced that they will be collecting new blankets to hand out to people at assisted living and rehab facilities.
There are many great deals on blankets at local retailers like Walmart and Walgreens that are just $5!
If you would like to participate, you can drop off donations at the Sheriff’s Department at 3091 Industrial Drive West in Hernando, Mississippi.
They will be collecting blankets Monday-Fridays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Their office will be closed Thanksgiving and Friday! (November 24 and 25)
The blanket drive ends December 12th.
