Our Darkhorse Dog of the week is Lucy! She is one of the Laurel Jones County Animal Shelter’s longest residents.
The shelter said they want so badly to find her forever family!
She is happy being at the shelter and is well-loved but would thrive in a home with a family to call her own!

Lucy has been at the shelter for over 6 years. Here are a few things the shelter said about her.
“Can you imagine??? Getting overlooked for the puppy or the “prettier” dog for 6 years?! She’s patient, though. Our staff loves her, and our volunteers love her! She’s just waiitng on the right peole to walk through our doors and love her!”
