On December 22, at approximately 5:30 am, the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Criminal Investigations Units, Patrol Division, Picayune Police Department Narcotics and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics executed a drug search warrant at the home of Joseph “Joey” Boyd and Vickie Boyd located on Brewer Lane, Poplarville MS.

Distribution amounts of methamphetamine and a Glock 9mm pistol were seized.

Both Boyd’s were arrested and transported to the Pearl River County Jail and booked for possession of methamphetamine while in possession of a firearm.

Mr. Boyd is a convicted felon and was additionally charged with felon in possession of a firearm.
