Flowood K-9 Police Officer Zachery Rodney was in a terrible wreck on October 14th.

The community has rallied around him to help pay for his hospital bills and support him while he is not able to work. Over $6,000 as already been raised for the officer.

Rodney and his K-9 Gurly was involved in a horrible vehicle accident in Hattiesburg. Rodney had to be airlifted to UMMC in Jackson because his injuries were so sincere.

According to the GoFundMe, Rodney has a ruptured aorta, ruptured spleen, dislocated pelvis, broken femur, and a few other minor injuries.

The hospital says that he is in stable condition right now. He has a few more surgeries to go.

The dog, Gurly has minor injuries and his being closely observed at this moment.
