UPDATE: Tamara Silas and Emily Silas were charged with Felony Child Neglect.

According to Jackson Police Officer Sam Brown, a child was found wandering in Jackson on Shady Lane on Tuesday.

Police asked the public if anyone recognized the child or knew his family.

A little while after this, the grandmother of the child was found and taken in to be questioned.

As the investigation continues, police said family members may now face criminal charges.

The child was taken to the hospital with unknown health issues.

We do not yet have an update on his condition.
