Brookhaven Man Arrested For Theft Of Catalytic Converters From Toyota

According to the Brookhaven police department, on January 31, Matthew Rutledge was taken into custody for theft of catalytic converters and street gang activity.
He was apprehended and charged within one day of the incident.
On January 30, around 3:45 am the business Toyota of Brookhaven was a victim of Matthew Rutledge’s criminal activity.
Police say that Matthew Rutledge possibly has ties with other cases involving this criminal activity and the investigation will be ongoing.
Brookhaven Police Chief Kenneth Collins said,
“I would like to thank my detectives and patrol officers for their hard work and dedication to the department and the city of Brookhaven. I would also like to thank the citizens of Brookhaven for their assistance in this case.”.
