Cannon Ridge in Brandon held their second annual Fourth of July kids parade on Tuesday.

Families across the subdivision gathered to watch friends and neighbors showing their patriotism in a small parade on Cherry Street.

“This is just a great opportunity for us to get together and meet our neighbors. It gives us a chance to talk and have a great time with everybody,” said Emily Foster, Organizer.

A Brandon fire truck led the way with children on bicycles, kids cars and strollers. A UTV adored with the American flag bookended the procession.

The children enjoyed popsicles and watermelon after the parade wrapped up.

The neighborhood hopes to grow the event in the years to come.
