On October 13th, Rankin County deputies arrested 48-year-old Gino Giammarco, of Brandon, on charges of statutory rape and sexual battery.
An investigation of Giammarco revealed that on different occasions he gave a 15-year-old female illegal drugs and alcohol before performing sexual acts with the child.
Giammarco is charged with 3 counts of sexual battery and 2 counts of statutory rape.
He is currently being held at the Rankin County Detention Center on a $300,000 bond.
Rankin County District Attorney Bubba Bramlett will bring GIAMMARCO before Rankin County Court Judge David Morrow for an initial appearance.
