A sweet boxer was posted on social media for free pictured with a giant tumor hanging from his abdomen.
The Tunica Humane Society saw the poor dog and immediately knew they had to help. They couldn’t unsee his sweet face.
The Humane Society said they knew Tyson needed immediate medical care. They had him surrendered to them so he could have surgery as soon as posible.
Dr. Lisa removed a 3-pound tumor from the poor boxer. She also removed a smaller tumor from his groin.
The smaller tumor worried Dr. Lisa more, so they are testing it and hoping for positive test results.
Tyson is 7-8 years old. The Humane Society said that he adores children. He came from a home with three other dogs so he gets along with other dogs.
He isn’t fond of cats but he is housebroken and heartworm negative.
A foster is desperately needed for Tyson right now as he needs a quite place to recover from his surgery and shouldn’t be in a shelter setting.
The shelter said this about Tyson,
“I am praying someone else can’t “unsee” Tyson. There’s just something about this dog. I know in my heart Tyson is a dog of a lifetime. Sadly, his days may be numbered. Let’s make them the best days of his life“
