According to WTVA, Booneville police arrested two women and they were charged with drug possession and child abuse.
Police stopped a vehicle on Tuesday for misdemeanor traffic offenses on N. Second Street.
After investigating, police found alleged methamphetamine.
Alexandrea Head (of Waterford), and Connie Yeager (of Corinth) were taken into custody.
A child was also in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.
The women were both charged with one felony count of possession of methamphetamine. They are also charged with one count felony of child abuse for allowing the presence of a minor during drug possesion.
Their bonds were set at $40,000.
