Bond Set For Tupelo Suspect After Allegedly Shooting Into A Home

On January 19, at 12:30 a.m. Tupelo police were notified of a shooting incident at Nathaniel’s Place on Barley Courts.
Witnesses described a disturbance between parties that led to suspect 31-year-old Torrence Gill (Shannon) firing a handgun multiple times.
Gill had fled prior to officers arriving, but evidence was recovered and charges were pursued for both Shooting into a Dwelling as well as Shooting into a Motor Vehicle.
No physical injuries were reported.
On January 20, Gill was arrested for the two felony charges. Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set bond at $150,000. This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
