Authorities are investigating after a body was found at the 110 turnaround.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal hit-and-run crash around 2 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 55 in Madison County involving a pedestrian.
An unknown vehicle collided with 51-year-old Frank Tucker of Jackson walking north on Interstate 55. Frank Tucker received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Madison County Coroner Alex Breeland was dispatched to the scene.
This investigation is ongoing.
