A body found in the Mississippi River in August has been identified.
It was found floating near mile marker 687 by a crew working with the United States Coast Guard on August 21.
The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office identified the individual as 50-year-old Mario Stewart from Memphis.
According to the Memphis Police Department, Stewart was a suspect in the death of a woman named Jenny Harris-Selmon.
