A 14-year-old was the only survivor in a wreck that happened in Lincoln County late Thursday night.

JoAnna Douglas miraculously survived the wreck and was life-flighted to United Medical Center in Jackson.

The wreck happened on Mallalieu Drive. According to the Daily Leader, 18-year-old Karlie Burris was killed in the crash. Joanna Douglas was a passenger in the car.

Her injuries are extensive and severe, but she is in good spirits and is fighting.

According to her family and close friends, JoAnna has a fractured skull, a broken leg, and lacerations to three of her organs.

Mississippi Blood Services is holding a blood drive for her.

The blood drive will be from 11:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. at the 583 Nutrition in Bogue Chitto. The address is 2644 Hwy 583, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629.
