The Batesville Police Department said they detained multiple suspects on Trianon Street (behind the library) Thursday night.
The suspects admitted to breaking and entering unlocked vehicles in the Trianon, Kyle, and American Legion Park areas of the city.
According to police, they are on foot and this is happening after midnight.
Police are asking residents to check their vehicles for missing property and report it to police. They said there may be other areas that the suspects hit.
Always remember to lock your vehicles and take your valuables inside.
