Coast authorities seek construction company owner who allegedly scammed victim

Coast authorities are looking for a man they say ran off with money to do a roofing job that he never did.

According to Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers, Benjamin Paul Williams, the owner of B.W. Construction, was given money to purchase roofing supplies by a customer in May 2021. Authorities say Williams took the money, but never purchased the materials.

The alleged crime occurred in the St. Martin community of Jackson County.

Benjamin Paul Williams is a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing around 140 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. His last known address is listed as the Ocean Springs area.
