UPDATE: Woman Reportedly Kidnapped Found Safe At Jackson Airport

UPDATE: April 11, 4:52 p.m.

The woman has been found safe, according to Captain Paul Holley with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office. Rankin County authorities, along with multiple other agencies assisted in the search.

She was found at the Jackson airport and brought to safety.

The Claiborne County Emergency Management Facebook page put out a notice for the public to be on the lookout for a woman who has possibly been kidnapped.

According to the alert, the public needs to be on the look out for a blue Honda Accord with a Lamar County tag, driven by a white male.

The vehicle is believed to be driving east on Hwy 18.

Authorities believe she was kidnapped from the 61 Fish Market in Port Gibson.

She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, bandana on her head, and a gray jacket.

Please call 911 with any information.

Rankin County authorities also assisted with the search.

According to WLBT, authorities are currently searching the Jackson Medgar-Wiley Evers International Airport.

WLBT reports that the missing woman is the wife of a Port Gibson police officer. Her phone was tracked to the airport and last pinged within the hour.
