A state inmate has escaped from Central Mississippi Correctional Facilities in Rankin County Thursday.
The Mississippi Department of Corrections is searching for 20-year-old Shunekndrick Huffman. He escaped the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County Thursday afternoon.
Huffman was sentenced on Oct. 14, 2019, to seven years for aggravated assault in Leake County.

If you live near CMCF in Pearl, please be on the alert, and lock your doors. If you see anything suspicious, call law enforcement. The jail is located on Highway 468 in Pearl.
