10 people were transported by ambulance to SCRMC. 9 more patients were triaged who declined transport by ambulance.

This is a preliminary count. Major vehicle recovery operation is underway.

The Jones County Sheriff’s Department is on the scene of a massive multi-vehicle crash on Highway 84 Wednesday morning.

The crash happened near Barney Drive and multiple vehicles are involved in both the eastbound and westbound lanes.

All lanes are blocked in both directions. Please avoid this area.
