A new mural is coming to a walking trail in Jackson and the foundation sponsoring the mural is looking for artists who would like to be a part of this!
The Jackson Heart Foundation is partnering with Red Dot storage to match funds for a new mural along the trail’s southern entrance.
The theme of the mural is Mississippi’s culture, nature, and community in some way. The mural will sit where the trail transitions between Belhaven Heights and Belhaven neighborhood.
The wall spans 450 feet, and artists are allowed to work as a team. Be strategic about the use of color and consider using a repetitive form or pattern that can span the length of the wall.
