An “armed and dangerous” man wanted for murder from Texas is being searched for in Warren County.

According to WLBT, Sheriff Martin Pace said around 6:00 p.m. last night, deputies found a Nissan Altima that belonged to a homicide victim from Webster, Texas.

The car was found on China Grove Road.

WLBT reported that inside the car, there were items that made authorities believe the killer had been driving the car and could still be nearby in a wooded area.

A name was not released for the suspect, but he is described as a 29-year-old black male who is 6’2 and weighs around 200 pounds.

Authorities believe he may be somewhere along Highway 27 south of Gibson Road.

Sheriff Pace is encouraging residents to lock their doors and secure vehicles. They said if you see anything suspicious please call 911.
