UPDATE: Jordan Long is now in custody. (February 14)

On Friday, February 9, the Jackson Police Department began investigating a Homicide and Aggravated Assault that happened on Covington Park Dr.

Detectives learned that the victims were shot at this location. One of the victims was unfortunately pronounced dead. Detectives have issued warrants for the arrest of suspect Jordan Long.

Jordan Long is charged with Murder and Aggravated Assault in connection to this case.

According to Jackson police, Jordan Long is considered Armed and Dangerous, if anyone knows his whereabouts please contact the Jackson Police Department. Detectives are working to identify additional suspects and more arrests are expected in this case.
