On Tuesday, April 16, Investigators and Deputies with the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office along with Agents with the MS Bureau of Narcotics conducted a search warrant at 136 CR 715, the residence of Kenneth Wayne Scales Jr.

During the search warrant officers discovered approximately 1 pound of Methamphetamine, approximately 6 grams of Cocaine, approximately 2 grams of Heroin and approximately 185 grams of Marijuana. Officers also discovered a pill press used to make counterfeit pills, and two firearms.

40-year-old Kenneth W Scales Jr. of CR 715 Corinth is being charged with multiple drug and weapon charges.

Officers also discovered other possible stolen items at the residence. The investigation is ongoing and other arrests and charges are pending.
