TATE COUNTY – Eight people have been arrested following a coordinated narcotics roundup targeting suspected drug sales in the Senatobia and Coldwater areas, according to the Tate County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said its Narcotics Division and Criminal Investigation Division recently conducted the operation as part of an ongoing effort to identify people believed to be involved in the sale and distribution of illegal drugs in Tate County.
Authorities said all eight suspects were charged with sale of a controlled substance.
Those arrested were identified as Rebecca Bailey, Courtney Carter, Rodrickus Lipford, Lachante Bryant, Ketwyne Bowen, Davell Jackson, Cedrick Collins and Kendrick Bowen.
The sheriff’s office said the arrests were the result of an ongoing investigation into narcotics activity in the county.
All eight suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
