JACKSON COUNTY — A 25-year-old D’Iberville man was killed early Sunday after his vehicle left Interstate 10 and struck a pole in Jackson County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
MHP responded to the fatal crash at approximately 3:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23.
Investigators said Adonis Simms was driving a 2020 Kia Forte east on I-10 when the vehicle ran off the roadway and collided with a pole.
Simms suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
