Robert Richard Desmidt of Caledonia was arrested Monday on a charge of Sale of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Meth, enhanced with a firearm.

Desmidt had been indicted by a grand jury in Circuit Court earlier this year on a sale charge brought against him by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.

Upon his arrest for that warrant, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Nicky Stanley was arrested by Monroe County Narcotics Agents Tuesday and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Meth in a Correctional Facility.

Stanley was arrested on a traffic stop at her residence in Aberdeen during the execution of a search warrant.

She was transported to the jail where she allegedly attempted to smuggle narcotics into the facility.
