Man Wanted On Warrant For Child Pornography Killed After Firing At Olive Branch Police

According to the Olive Branch Police Department, on Monday, September 16, at approximately 9:27 a.m., officers of the Olive Branch Police Department were attempting to serve a search warrant about two counts of possession of child pornography to an individual who recently moved from out of state to the area of 9142 Railroad Avenue.
While attempting to serve the warrant, the suspect opened fire on the officers and the officers returned fire.
The officers were not injured and the suspect is deceased.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has taken over the investigation.
No additional information is available at this time and this remains an active and ongoing investigation by the MBI.
