Bach, a 10-year-old Belgian Malinois, is retiring from the MSU Police Department.
Bach served at the police department for nine years. He served as a dual-purpose explosive and patrol detector K-9.
The school held a ceremony for him on campus. It was the first-ever retirement of a police dog from the university’s K-9 unit and the school said it drew quite a crowd of students and staff.
MSU’s 22nd “Bully” mascot, Dak even came to the ceremony.
