Pascagoula police are investigating a homicide from over the weekend.
On Saturday at around 8:20 p.m., dispatchers received a 911 call of shots fired on the 2600 block of Martin Street in Pascagoula.
Officers responded to the scene and found Jessie Johnson, 29, of Moss Point, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Johnson was later pronounced dead at the scene by the Jackson County Coroner’s Office. Investigators interviewed several witnesses about the case.
