Presidents’ Day weather: Warm and rainy, some storms possible

Mary Apel

Temperatures will be noticeably warmer today with increased humidity. Showers and thunderstorms are likely, and some thunderstorms could become strong to severe particularly in the northwest by afternoon. High temperatures will rise into the lower 70s.

Showers and a few thunderstorms linger this evening particularly along and north of I-20. Warm southerly winds will prevent temperatures from cooling much tonight with lows in the upper 50s to upper 60s.

Thunderstorms likely tomorrow as well, check back for any severe weather updates.
