Two suspects arrested in Tupelo for felony child abuse

On January 24, Tupelo Police were notified by Child Protective Services that two children, ages 1 and 6, had been removed from a home and had tested positive for illegal narcotics.

On January 28, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir signed arrest warrants for Christopher Yeldell, 45, and Marina Tigues, 40.

On Monday, Jan 31, Yeldell and Tigues were located and arrested.

Judge Weir set bond at $70,000 each.
