A man is in custody in a homicide in Tunica County that took place a week before Christmas.

According to investigators at the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department, Cortez Wilkins has been arrested and charged with murder in the Dec. 18 death of Trez Hall.

At the time, police circulated that they needed information regarding a suspect or suspects in Hall’s death at Harris Place Night Club on Highway 4. It is unclear how Hall was killed.

Wilkins is also charged with felon in Possession of a firearm. He is currently waiting to go before a Justice Court Judge for a bond hearing.
