Suspect in triple homicide in Tupelo arrested today in Albany, New York

A suspect in a triple homicide in Tupelo was arrested today in Albany, New York, by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

A release from Tupelo Police Department said around 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Jaylen Wells was arrested. Wells is a suspect in the deaths of Jessica Pannell, 21; Norahs Coleman, 21; and Robben Wilson, 22. Three others are already in custody connected to the case, and all four are charged with capital murder. Javion Clifton, Shamar Carroll and Taquon Garth are the others believed to have been involved in the homicides.

The shootings occurred July 24 on Maynard Drive in Tupelo.

Tupelo police say more information will be released regarding the capture and extradition back to Mississippi when appropriate.
